I’m Jenn Prentice, a “Jill of all trades” with a Master’s Degree in communication and a minor in (affordable) fashion.
This site was born out of my love for writing, shopping and learning new things–and my desire to share what I’m most passionate about with the rest of the world.
What do I do?
By day, I’m the Content Manager at Experts Exchange (I blog there), the organizer of TEDxSanLuisObispo (I blog there too) and the Public Relations Director for Haberdash (you guessed it, I blog there too). By night, I spend time with the love of my life (known to those who read this blog as Hubs), watch (mind-numbing reality) television and work on Style Geek related projects.
So, what ARE Style Geek related projects?
After nearly seven years in Corporate America, I’ve learned that we are often the biggest barriers to our own success. Whether we’re starting a business, vying for a promotion or simply wanting to make a good first impression, the way we communicate–both verbally and non-verbally, online and offline–determines whether people want to purchase our product, work with us or even just be our friend. From public speaking training to personal style consultation, I work with individuals to develop their personal brand and build confidence in their personal and professional life.
A full list of my consulting services will be available soon. If you’d like to chat before then, feel free to get in touch with me! Fill out the contact form below, send an email to jennprentice (at) gmail (dot) com or connect with me on Twitter (@jennprentice) or Google +. For some of my less professional musings, you can check out my personal blog. I look forward to connecting with you!
